Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Our commitment
At AutoWriter we want everyone to be able to use our website and service comfortably, including people with disabilities. We work to make the site and the service accessible in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 2013.
What this statement covers
This statement covers the AutoWriter website, the service itself (the app where you manage content, including its screens, windows and menus), the emails the service sends, and the landing-page template the service builds for clients. Content a business owner puts on their own landing page, such as text, images and videos, is their responsibility.
Accessibility level
The site and service have been adapted with the aim of meeting Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, at level AA. We also aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. The latest accessibility check, with automated tools and manual keyboard testing, on desktop and mobile, in Hebrew and English, was carried out on October 21, 2026.
What we have made accessible
- Page language and text direction are set (Hebrew right-to-left, English left-to-right), so screen readers read content correctly.
- A hierarchical heading structure on every page, with a single main heading.
- All images have alternative text; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Every form and calculator field has a label or description, and every button has a clear name.
- The whole site can be navigated with a keyboard alone (Tab and Shift+Tab), with a clear outline on the focused element.
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page, to jump straight to the content without going through the menu.
- Menus open on click and keyboard, not only on mouse hover.
- Text is shown in high contrast, and the page can be zoomed up to 200% in the browser without losing content.
- The site is adapted to phones and tablets.
- The site is available in Hebrew and English, with a language switch on every page.
- Page regions are marked (header, navigation, main content and footer), so screen readers can jump between them.
- The borders of fields and buttons are also shown in sufficient contrast, so they are easy to identify.
- Buttons that show only an icon have a full spoken name that says what the button does and to what, for example "Delete the kit" or "Next month".
- Pop-up windows and menus: focus moves into them and stays there, the Esc key closes them, and focus returns to where they were opened.
- Form error messages appear next to the field, are linked to it and are read by screen readers. Messages that appear by themselves are read too.
- When the operating system's "reduce motion" setting is on, animations, videos and slides don't move by themselves. Every video that plays by itself has a pause button.
- There is no flashing content, and no time limit for reading or filling in forms.
Browsers and assistive technologies
The site has been checked on current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on desktop and mobile. We recommend using the latest version of your browser and assistive technology.
Parts that are not yet fully accessible
We keep improving accessibility. Some parts may not yet be fully accessible, for example:
- Charts and infographics inside articles: their key information also appears in the article text.
- Third-party content and components (such as videos or external tools) that are not fully under our control, including the Google, Facebook and Microsoft sign-in windows.
- Images and videos a business owner uploads, or that are generated for them by AI, are shown as they are. In the videos the service produces, the key text appears on screen, but there is no audio track. Before publishing, we recommend adding alternative text to images and captions to videos with speech.
- Downloadable reports (PDF) the service produces are not yet fully accessible. On request, we will send their information in an accessible format.
- The site does not currently include an accessibility toolbar; you can use your browser's and operating system's accessibility settings (zoom, contrast, screen reader).
If you find a component that isn't accessible, please let us know and we will fix it.
Online service only
AutoWriter is an online-only service. We have no offices, branches or walk-in customer service, so there are no building accessibility arrangements. The whole service, including sign-up, support and enquiries, is provided through the website, the app and email.
